Association of Lafayette Feminists

Founded in the mid 1990's this orgnaization's mission is to educate the Lafayette and Easton communities on the real meaning of feminism. We also seek to advocate against rape and sexual assault on college campuses and in communities each year by holding Take Back the Night events. Every other year since 2000 we have also worked to end violence against women by putting on Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues." Other events include Love Your Body Day (celebrated February 14th) as well as other events targeted a little more seriously towards addressing issues of body image.
